February Class

The February class is fast approaching, so I knew I needed to post the pictures of the projects.  We did Valentines in January, so this month we'll be making non-Valentine cards.

The card below is a triple stamp card that we'll make.  I used the Everything Eleanor stamp set and Bravo Burgundy cardstock.  The two ink pad colors I used are Bravo Burgundy and Crumb Cake.  I stamped the images on Very Vanilla card stock.

The second card we'll be making in class is an Easter card.  I used the Everybunny stamp set and some Birds of a Feather Designer Series Paper.

Another card we'll make uses the Just Believe and Papillon Potpourri stamp sets.  The butterfly is punched out and the wings are curved for some dimension.  There will be a selection of greetings from which to choose.
The greeting stamp ("thank you") I used below is from the Sale-a-bration brochure.  You can choose one item from the brochure for each $50 of Stampin' Up! products you purchase between January 22 and March 22.  The stamp set I used below is from one of the free sets (there are eight stamps in that set).  Even the punch I used to punch it out is a free choice.  If you're thinking of ordering, this is a great time to do so.

If you're interested in purchasing any products, let me know and I'll be sure to get the Sale-a-bration brochure to you.

Thanks for the visit.

My First Party

I had my first party (workshop?) on February 13.  One friend who came ordered the Just Believe stamp set -- one of my favorite stamp sets.  She already had red and black stamp pads, so she ordered a couple green stamp pads.  I decided to do a card with that stamp set using the red and black.  I love how it turned out.  It's an Easter card -- not your typical colors, though.

I made several more cards using the Just Believe stamp set, but I chose only two for my website.

Wild Wasabi stamp pad ink and card stock
Old Olive stamp pad and card stock

The cards look way better in person.  Why do the cards lose something when they are photographed?

Anyway, I had a nice party/workshop and thank everyone who came.  I have a party booked for early March.  It'll be my first time flying solo since Pennie (my wonderful upline) helped me plan and do my first party.
