Honor Flight Part Two

Today's posting is an update.  My last post was about the card I made for my uncle Ed who was going to go on a WWII Honor Flight to Washington DC.  My cousins Mike and Terry posted pictures of the return home (it all happened yesterday!).  By the way, Uncle Ed is 87.  Doesn't he look great?

Welcome Back poster my cousin, Therese, made.  Several family members were at the airport to welcome him back home.  Photo taken by Terry D.

I talked to Uncle Ed today and he told me all about his day.  He had a great time visiting the sites in Washington D.C.  The whole experience was incredible.  And, he loved the mail call.  He was impressed that I remembered he went overseas on the U.S.S. West Point and that I put a ship on the front of his card.

Thanks for stopping by!
